5. Arrive & Trek to Basecamp

Arrive in Nepal, fly to Lukla, and trek to basecamp. We can arrange porters, a guide, or a jeep transfer if needed — just let us know.

What is the best season for Lobuche East?
Spring (April–May) offers stable weather and clear skies. Autumn (October–November) provides good conditions with colder temperatures.
What does the dry price cover?
Your climbing permit and two nights at our basecamp. You handle your own trek to/from basecamp, food, porters, accommodation en route, gear, and all other logistics.
How do I get to basecamp?
You organise your own transport. Most climbers fly to Lukla and trek via Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche. The approach takes 7–9 days.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes, mandatory. You must have comprehensive travel and high-altitude insurance covering helicopter evacuation up to 6,500m.
Do I need prior climbing experience?
Yes, Lobuche East is an advanced peak. You need experience with crampons, ice axe, rope techniques, and high-altitude trekking.
