About Mountaineer.fi

Mountaineer.fi is a Himalayan climbing resource — permits, basecamp, and everything we've learned getting there. We organise expedition permits and basecamp access for independent mountaineers, publish training and gear guides, and document the history and culture of Himalayan exploration. Based in Nepal, we cover the peaks that matter most to the climbing community.

Logo & Name

Always refer to the brand as Mountaineer.fi with a capital M and the .fi domain suffix. Use Mountaineer.fi (not "Mountaineer FI" or "mountaineer.fi") in all formal references. The logo is set in Caveat Bold at 1.8rem in Deep Blue (#74b9ff).

• Tone: Direct, practical, knowledgeable. No fluff. Speaks to experienced mountaineers and aspiring climbers alike.
• Tagline: "The shortest line between you and a Himalayan summit"
• Naming convention: Peaks are referred to by their common English name first, with local name in parentheses where applicable (e.g. Island Peak / Imja Tse).
