Mountaineer.fi is a permit desk, a climbing library, and an open-source blueprint — all in one. We exist to make the Himalaya more accessible, better documented, and built to last.

Expeditions

Dry-price climbing permits and basecamp access for Lobuche East (6,119m), Island Peak (6,189m), Mera Peak (6,476m), and Ama Dablam (6,812m). No guided packages, no markups — just the permit and a place to sleep at altitude. You organise the rest.

Pricing: $750 standard peaks · $5,500 Ama Dablam. $250 deposit ($500 for Ama Dablam). The rest is DIY.

Independent Himalayan climbing — without the markup.

Content & Publishing

Permits, basecamp, and everything we've learned getting there. We publish training guides, expedition field notes, gear breakdowns, high-altitude science, and Himalayan history — because the best climbs are informed climbs.
